Stay Home, Stay Safe, Stay Tuned

The MTA Board of Directors hopes that all of our athletes, coaches, volunteers and their families are staying healthy and safe during this COVID19 crisis.

While we encourage everyone to be active, we also wanted to remind you all to stay home, stay safe and stop the spread of this coronavirus.

We are monitoring the situation and will make decisions, in keeping with the guidance of public health authorities, related to the outdoor season. Stay tuned here for announcements.

MTA Indoor Meets Cancelled

Regretfully, due to the COVID-19 crisis, the MTA and the host clubs made the difficult decision to cancel the last two meets of the 2020 MTA indoor season.

The United Tamils Sports Club Winter Classic scheduled for March 14th and the MTA Indoor Championships scheduled for March 28-29th will not take place.

The MTA will continue to actively monitor the COVID-19 situation and make decisions about future events based on the recommendations of the appropriate government and health agencies.

We understand the challenges this presents for our athletes, coaches and clubs and are sympathetic but it is paramount that we flatten the curve so we encourage everyone to stay home, stay safe and stay healthy.
